Welding Safety
This booklet is a guide to safe work methods and practices wherever welding and gas-cutting are performed in the industrial environment. It should be closely studied by employers and workers, tradespeople, apprentices, and anyone who has to use welding or gas-cutting equipment in a factory or workshop, on a building site, or in any other workplace.
Information in this booklet conforms with NZS 4781:1973 Code of practice for safety in welding and cutting. As this booklet is a general guide, the code of practice should be referred to when more specific information is required on any point.
