Notifications
How to notify The Department:
- Serious harm and accidents
- If the notification relates to:
- ships - contact Maritime New Zealand
- aircraft in operation - contact the Civil Aviation Authority
- commercial vehicles - contact the Department of Labour, who will co-ordinate any follow up with the Commercial Vehicle Investigation Unit of New Zealand Police
- If the notification relates to:
- Notifiable occupational disease
- Particular hazardous work
- Interest in knowing of enforcement action
- Exposure to asbestos
- Adventure Activities
